Mr Benhase is very professional and very helpful and honest. I highly recommend him for all your restoration needs from small repairs to extensive repairs. Awesome experience. He goes out of his way to keep you informed through the entire process. You won't find a more professional and honest repair/restoration shop.

Took my 1970 Fastback Mustang to this shop. I can't say anything good about them. Only thing I will say it was just before the pandemic and things went sideways from there. When it came time to begin, the car was taken to bare metal and some body work was done. Came time to get the doors done and they estimated it was going to cost over $5000..00 dollars for the body work on the doors. I could have bought reproduction doors for less. Had to renegotiate. Then ran into more issues with more estimates. Finally came to an agreement to do the remaining body work, install all glass, weather stripping and paint the car. They were supposed to let me know when this was all complete. I had to call them. Then I wanted some extra work done. We agreed upon a price. Again, supposed to be contacted when this was complete. Again, had to contact them. Was then told the cost of the extra work was more than the agreed price. Informed them I wanted to pick up the car. Agreed upon a date. Went to pick up the car and found that everything they were supposed to do wasn't done. Paint has scratches and chips, along with what looks like black magic marker marks underneath the clear coat in spots. The only w

Not even worth one star β total rip off for work done on my Corvair. 4 months and $3,500 later, I got car back with basically nothing done to it β except a large dent in the quarter panel. Promised to rebuild carburetors, address oil leak. Car ran worse than ever and dripped twice as much oil.

I have mixed feelings about the project they did for me, which was a 1967 Mustang GT Fastback restomod - from obtaining a donor car for me to (sortof) finished car. I'm from the Cincy area but live in the Kansas City area now, so this was a long distance project. Positive: They (sortof) delivered my dream car. The paint job is exquisite. Their paint guy, Aaron, is a true master. Their main Mustang mechanic, Michael, knows Mustangs and does excellent work without wasting a minute of billed hours. I visited the car and shop last year to check on progress and he was shoulder deep in my car's engine bay. Others might have stopped work to bask in praises, but he left that to the owner's son and Mitch. I'd give Mitch's title but I don't know it. All I know is that he was my main point of contact and always made me feel he was looking out for my interests. After countless hours on the phone and a few visits in person, I consider him a friend and he has an open invitation to spend a day or two here in KC on his way to visit his son in Texas. Negative: 29 months from the time they received the donor car until completion. Part of that is due to COVID and staff shortages, but ther

Excellent service! Had my car in and out in great time, on schedule and very much in our agreed upon price range. Very knowledgeable and capable staff repairs and restores vehicles to a very high standard. Our family has taken many cars to Benhase, from our 1968 Nova to our 1953 MG TD with no problems, they could handle them both. Recently had damage on a 2015 Subaru and they were able to make it look like new. Great group of guys.
